Diane L. Kaiser wife of Ronald C. Kaiser of Port Orange FL. passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Wednesday March 24 2010. She was 71years old. She was surrounded by her loving family. Diane was the daughter of Joseph and Jean Finaldi Loffredo. Diane grew up in East Orange N.J. and moved from Bernardsville N.J. to Port Orange in 1986. Diane graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School in East Orange. Diane won the Tri-State Fashion Design and Illustration Competition sponsored by the Metropolitan Opera House for her design and illustration of a costume for the opera "Rigeletto" and was presented with her award and a scholarship to Traphagen School of Design in NYC on the stage of the Met during the intermission of that opera. She also attended Ducret School of Fine Art and Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art both in N.J. Diane started a career in Fashion Illustration and Design but met and married Ron in 1959 and started raising a family. After moving to Florida Diane started painting again learning the art of Chinese Brush Painting winning several prizes in art shows but her greatest passion beside her family was in service to others. She volunteered in many areas from recording books for the blind to working with Easter Seals UCP Boggy Creek Gang Camp and most importantly a group home for mentally challenged adults where she hosted monthly parties and outings for over 20 years. Diane received a letter of Commendation from President George H.W. Bush for her service work. Diane was a member and past president of the West Orange Jr. Women's Club N.J. the Pilot Club of Port Orange and the Pilot Club of Daytona Beach. Her family were her greatest treasure and she leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 50 years Ronald son Richard Kaiser (Joann) and grandson Eric daughter Lynn Kaiser Conrad (Reid) and granddaughter Cheyenne and grandson Cody daughter Regina Kaiser Brown (Ted) and granddaughter Francesca and grandson Billy and daughter Kristine Kaiser Cravener and grandson Ronny. She also leaves her brothers Carmine Loffredo South Orange N.J. and Ralph Loffredo NYC and sisters Arlene Kearney Manchester N.J. and Antonia Russomano Whippany N.J. and many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved and cherished friends Angela Stefanelli and Theresa DelGuercio. She was preceded by her parents. A funeral service in her honor will be held at 10:00am Tuesday March 30 2010 at Cardwell Funeral Home 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave. Port Orange.
