Diane Chale Irving passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 28 2012. She was born February 24 1945 in Gretna Manitoba Canada to George and Blanche Chale. Her childhood was spent on a farm near Bathgate ND. She graduated from Pembina High School in 1962 and went on to attend and graduate from Aakers Business College with a secretarial business diploma. Diane went too worked at KCND in Pembina. On August 21 1965 Diane married the love of her life Larry Irving at the Assumption Catholic Church in Pembina. In 1967 she gave birth to their son Michael and in 1970 their daughter Stacy. In the 70's they made their home in St. Vincent MN and then returned to Pembina ND. In 1981 they moved to Williston ND where Diane worked as a secretary for Triangle Electric and then Guiberson's. In 1985 Larry and Diane moved and made their home in West Fargo ND where they would stay for the next 24 years. Diane became a bank teller for the State Bank of Fargo in 1985 where she worked up till her retirement in 2009. She and Larry then relocated and have since called Ormond Beach FL their home. Diane's biggest joy in life was her family as a wife mother and grandmother. She would do anything and did everything possible for her husband children and grandchildren. She loved fishing playing cards trying her hand at bingo every once in a while swimming with the other ladies in their community and cheering on her Minnesota Vikings. Diane also enjoyed working in the yard and caring for her cat "Bandit". Diane is survived by her husband of 47 years Larry Irving Ormond Beach by her son Michael "Mike" (Sheila) Irving Fargo ND her daughter Stacy (Dan) McDonald Holly Hill FL sister Barbara Miller Ferndale WA and her three grandchildren Misty Steven and Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her parents a brother Lloyd Chale and a grandchild Charissa. A celebration of Life will be held on Friday August 3rd at 3:00 pm with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.
