Diana Partyka, 83, passed away on Friday May 9, 2014. She was born to the late Maurice and Doris Ford in Sea Mills, England on November 29, 1930. She moved with her family to the Clingford section of London in the 1930's. During World War II, her family was evacuated with thousands of other children to safer places in Western England. Towards the end of the war, she relocated to Beaconsfield near London with her mother and sister Margaret to be near her father, as he worked for the War Department of England in Uxbridge and Blechley Park. She attended school in High Wycombe.

Diana was married to Bronislaw Partyka in 1951 at the R.C. Church of Saint Teresa in Beaconsfield, England by Canon Davidson. Having two children, she immigrated with her family to the United States in 1957 to Passaic, NJ before settling in Wallington, NJ. During this time, she worked as a secretary for Becton & Dickenson in East Rutherford, NJ, as a payroll clerk at American Biscuit in Clifton, NJ and was always a loving mother. She and her husband had two more boys. She retired with her husband to Port Orange, Florida in 1987 where they became avid ballroom dancers, participating in various competitions and winning awards.

Diana is survived by her husband, Bronislaw Partyka, her sister Margaret Price, her sister-in-law, Genevieve Weis, her daughter Bronia Decker and son-in-law Thomas, her son Robert Partyka and daughter-in-law Dolores, her son Kenneth Partyka, Sr. and daughter-in-law Darlene, two grandchildren Kenneth Partyka, Jr. and Samantha Justina Partyka, her son Richard Partyka, her cousin David Raggatt and his wife Cynthia, her niece Deanne and her husband Larry Rikes.

A private service for the immediate family is to be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday May 15, 2014 at the Lohman - Daytona Funeral Home located at 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 with an Entombment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park located at 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32119.
