Diana L. Forrester, 64, of Port Orange, passed away unexpectedly on June 12 ^th at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

Diane was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Alfred E. Dahma and Helen (Nowicki) Dahma, both of whom preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Donna Luiso.  She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Gene, along with her sons Jason Forrester (Erin), and Brett Forrester (Angel).  She leaves behind her beautiful granddaughters, Finley & Fallyn, and her newborn grandson Avett, all whom she adored and cherished.  She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Alviani and Linda Jackman (Jack), and a brother, Alfred (Butch) Dahma (Debbie).

Diane was a paraprofessional with Volusia County Schools, working at Port Orange Elementary, Silver Sands Middle, and Champion Elementary during her 24 years of employment.  All who came in touch with her were captured by her wit, outgoing character, and a sincere caring for her students.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 17, 2021, 5-7pm, at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL 32127.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, 8:30am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange.
