Dewey Howard Kirkland was born July 29, 1945 in Bonifay, Florida. He went home to be wiht the Lord on May 6th, 2022 at the age of 76. He will be lovingly remembered for his big heart. he was a devoted and loving husband, father, and Papa.

Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elaine Kirkland; Sons: Jimmy (Gayle) Kirkland, Terry Kirkland, Mark (Carla) Kirkland; Grandchildren: Michael (Amber), Kalob, Misty, Kyle, Amber, Shian, Kayla, Karissa; Great Grandchildren: Madison, Makenli, Kaiden, Korbyn, Hayden, Logan, Preslee, Jayvain, and Kamdyn; Brothers: Hiram (Nubia), Danny (Janie); Nieces, Nephews, and countless additional loved ones.

Preceded in death by parents: Dewey Sr and Carrie Kirkland; Sisters: Hazel Osteen, Ann Hatcher, and Brenda King; Son: Keith Kirkland; Granddaughter: Kristen Kirkland
