We are sad to announce Desmond F. Simon, Sr. of Daytona Beach, FL has passed away. He died at the age of 83 on March 13, 2023. He was with his loving wife, Glenda Simon, at home, after battling bladder cancer.

Born to Augustini and Tina, he was born on November 18, 1939 in Saint Joseph, Trinidad and Tobago. He came to the U.S.A. in 1960 where he lived in New York, Boston, California, then later moved to Florida. He was married to Glenda Simon for 28 years.

Survived by 3 children; twins Desmond II (son) and Desma (daughter), and son Desmond III (Tootie) of California, as well as 3 step-children; Lisa of Nevada, Tommy of Arizona and Robby of Florida. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
