Dennis Joseph Pickavance II, age 74, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 11, 1950, Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before embarking on a successful career as an entrepreneur and golf course superintendent. A man of dedication and vision, Dennis brought his strong work ethic and leadership to everything he pursued.

Dennis had a deep love for golf, both on the green and off. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren — cheering them on at their games, taking them out for ice cream, and sharing stories that will live on through them.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane; his children Joe, Tim, Jennifer, and Brian; and his eight cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved brother, Dwayne, and sister, Denise. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Joseph Pickavance Sr and Hellen Jean Pickavance, his sister Debbie Mitchem and brother Dale Pickavance.

Dennis will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family and God. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories shared.

Service details: A service memorial will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on May 29th, at 11:00 am.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30pm at the Pickavance residence. Please RSVP - texting your name and number of people to 386-843-2974.
