Funeral Services for Dennis O?Donnell age 53 who passed away August 1st in Ormond Beach will be held Thursday August 5th at 3:00 pm at Tomoka Christian Church with Rev. Ed Marshall officiating Ormond Beach FL. A Funeral procession will begin at Riverbend Church on Rt. 40 at 2:30 pm to Tomoka Christian Church. His family will receive friends from 5:00 pm ? 8:00 pm on Wednesday August 4th at Lohman Ormond Funeral Home Ormond Beach FL.
Dennis was born in Philadelphia PA to Lawrence and Anna Hazel O?Donnell. Dennis grew up in Evansville IN He served in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He moved to this area in 1976. He worked as a lifeguard for Volusia County Beach Patrol for several years. Dennis was a Corporal for the Ormond Beach police department since 1981. He was a member of the Tomoka Christian Church.
He loved being with his children coaching baseball riding motorcycles weight lifting physical fitness and woodworking.
Dennis is survived by his children Devon and Megan O?Donnell of Ormond Beach FL their mother Vicki O?Donnell also of Ormond Beach FL and his sisters Diane McKenzie of Jacksonville FL and Debra Stevens of Evansville IN. Memorial Donations may be made in Dennis?s memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
