Dennis Ray McGee, 62, of Daytona Beach, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on October 22, 2015 at the Halifax Hospice Care Center in Ormond Beach.

A graduate of Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Dennis retired as the Director of Daytona Beach International Airport, where he served for 31 years.

Together with his wife Mary, he enjoyed a love of cats, the outdoors, listening to local music and spending time with family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his wife Mary (Kehl) McGee, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Glenda McGee, nieces Kelli and Christi McGee, and nephews Terry and Jason Cole.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 30, 2015 at 5 pm at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, FL 32174. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Halifax Humane Society (www.halifaxhumanesociety.org).
