Funeral service for Mr. Dennis L. "Buddy" Bass age 73 of Halifax Avenue in Daytona Beach will be held on Saturday January 20th at 12 Noon in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach. His family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till time of service. Interment will follow service at Daytona Memorial Park. Buddy passed away Monday January 15th at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange. He was an Army veteran. From 1959 till 1998 he was one of the owners of "Bass & Swaggerty" Food Distributors in Holly Hill. He loved playing tennis fishing in the Bahamas and eating lobster. He is survived by his wife of 4 years Connie 2 sons; Michael and his wife Sandy of Port Orange and Bobby. Buddy is also survived by his 2 brothers Richard Bass and Gene Bass both of Ormond Beach and his 3 granddaughters; Kendall Kamryn and Seaira.
