Dolores M. Catucci 84 passed away on Thursday February 23 2012 at Halifax Health Medical Center. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday March 1 2012 at 11 am at the Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach FL. 32114 All arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Dolores was born on January 31 1928 in Meriden CT. to the late Adeline and John Whalen. She lived in New Britain Ct. until 1984 and while living there worked at Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. Southern New England Telephone Co. and the Veterans Hospital of Newington CT. After moving to Daytona Beach she became a secretary for Dr. Malcolm Graham retiring in 1997. Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church where she was an usher and a member of the Sociable Seniors. She was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Chapter 84 Holly Hill FL. Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Leonard Catucci and two son-in-laws Henry Bujda and James Burns. Surviving Dolores are her two daughters Eileen Bujda of Manchester CT and Lisa (Gary) Wadsworth of Port Orange FL sister Jacqueline Owsianik of Meriden CtL; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews and friends.
