Deborah J. Rininger of New Smyrna Beach passed away Saturday April 24 2010. A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Saturday May 1 2010 at 3:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange Chapel 1201 Dunlawton Avenue Port Orange. Deborah was born on March 25 1955 in Maryland to Charles and Betty Simmons. She was a member of New Smyrna Beach Church of Christ. Deborah graduated in 1972 from Marlington High School in Alliance Ohio. She received her nursing degree in 1987 from Walsh University in Canton Ohio. Her favorite time was spending it with her family and her two companions Domique and Sampson. She truly loved animals especially her dogs. Deborah loved to collect wind chimes. She was devoted to her job at Vitas in serving her families and co-workers. She is survived by her parents Charles ""Jake"" and Betty Simmons; her two daughters Amy Gardiner and Carrie (Ronald) Neff; her son Donald (Richelle) Rininger; the father of their children James Rininger; granddaughter Maranda Neff; grandson Sean Rininger; sister Sharon (David) Ray; brother Timothy (Patty) Simmons; sister Sharon (David) Ray; nieces and nephews David (Kat)Ray Katrina & Ray Aaron Ray and Kylee Simmons; long time family friend Terri Menegay & family.
