Deb was born October 22, 1955 in Bakerville, CT. She attended N.W. Regional #7 high School in Barkhamstead, CT where she was a cheerleader. After graduation, she drove a school bus for 6 years for New Hartford, CT.
Deb moved to Daytona beach with her childhood friend Renee Skrainski in 1980. She was employed at Halifax Hospital through Renee who also introduced her to her husband, Paul Powell. Deb remained with Halifax for the next 41 years, until her death in the I.C.U. on September 9, 2021; after a courageous battle with Covid.
Deb was predeceased by her father Jack Alender, sister Cherie Kelley, Nephew Nickie Kelley, Grandparents Nanny and Bomp.
Deb leaves behind to cherish her memory Paul Powell, her beloved mother Lois Alender, Sister and Brother-in-law Jackie and Steve Seward, Niece Kayla, Nephew Kyle, grand nephew Noah, Aunt Nan Pulica, Cousins Dwane, Dwight, and Charlene, Uncle Roger and Aunt DeDe Lorentzen and family, Godson Jerry Baldwin Jr, Good friends Jane and Mike Morgan, and a multitude of friends and her Halifax Family.
