Deborah Jean Hall O'Daniel, 76, of Port Orange, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach Florida.

Debbie was born on February 27, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia. She attended Dunbar High School, was a majorette, and graduated with the Class of 1957. Her love of flowers and passion for gardening blossomed while living in Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emogene Faye Painter Hall and Meredith Parker Hall Sr., her brother, Meredith P. Hall Jr., and her daughter, Julia Elaine Winters.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Thomas O'Daniel, Her two daughters, Kelly Winters Smith and Leslie D. Ziemer, three grandchildren, Bryan, Danny, and Taylor Ziemer, and 2 great-grandchildren Graham and Ava Ziemer. Also leaves behind 3 step-children, Lisa Diehl, Kent O'Daniel, and Gwyn O'Daniel Bell.

A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange, FL 32127, (386-761-1100), on Friday, January 29, 2016. The family will receive friends at 1:30 pm; with the service at 3:00 pm.
