August 1st, 2017 the world lost someone truly special. Deborah "Debbie" Ann McLaverty passed away at age 63 surrounded by her loved ones. Those who knew her well were blessed by her infectious happiness and optimism and would be proud to call her daughter, mom, sister, aunt, grand mom, or friend.

Debbie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She raised her family in New Jersey before settling into Daytona Beach, Florida 12 years ago. She is survived by her father: Richard Ritting, children: Jason McLaverty and Kevin McLaverty, her amazing daughter in law Michele McLaverty, sisters (a.k.a best friends) Susan Moore (William) and Dawn Kovalevich (David), big brothers Rich Ritting, David Ritting (Sharon), stepsister Renee Gohn, 6 beautiful grandchildren Jace, Alexis, Chloe, Carlee, Bryce and Brody; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Debbie is now where she belongs - in the arms of her husband Jay.
