Debora "Skippy" Ann Daniels, age 68, of Interlachen, Florida, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away quietly at sunrise on Friday, April 15th, 2022. She was born on 0ctober 18, 1953 in Banning, California to Pearl Marie Frantz-Skipworth and Samuel P. Skipworth. She attended Huntington High School and would later graduate from Huntington Jr. College of Business with a Computer Operations Program in 1983, and Associate in Business Degree and in 1987. She and her family moved to Central Florida in 1994 where she worked in the manufacturing industry and several retailers before returning to school in 2004 as Medical and Billing Coder.
She was an avid animal lover and so loved all her fur babies over the years.
She had three children: Dana Edward Glenn Skipworth of Interlachen, Shawn Lee Skipworth of Deltona Fl-deceased in 2013), Jason Manly Daniels of Interlachen Florida.
Her pride and joy were her 4 grandchildren: Seth Layfield, Vanessa Daniels, Kyle Daniels, and her most recent bundle of joy, Elliot Simpson, all of Florida.
She truly enjoyed traveling and fell in love with the Hawaiian Islands and the people as she made several trips over the years. She loved flower pinks and purples, especially Tulips.
She fought a long courages battle since 1997 with a lung disease that should have taken her sooner but God! She was courages and a loving mother a faithful friend and gave of herself without expecting nothing in return. She had a host of nieces and cousins she loved dearly and many friends who loved their "Skippy", as her dear friends would call her. She had a very close friend of 50 plus years who she would say was her sister, Jodie Perry of Ohio, whom mom loved dearly, and her Sister-n-law Patricia Skipworth. She was proceeded in death by both her parents and 2 brothers: Norman Skipworth of West Virginia and Samuel Skipworth of Florida, and her late Son Shawn Skipworth.
Friends and family will gather to remember her celebration of life on May 2, 2022, at 1100-1500, at Lohman Funeral Home, 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW, Palm Coast Florida 32137. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
