Funeral Services for Deanna Boone Church age 49 who died Sunday October 27 2008 will be Thursday Oct. 30th at 10:00am at First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach with Pastor Robbie O'Brien and Pastor Bill Owens officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Hillside Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday Oct. 29th from 5-8pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Deanna was born in Daytona Beach and was a third generation Sandcrab (Seabreeze HS) graduate. She received her undergraduate from Florida Southern College and her juris doctor degree from University of Florida. Deanna was an avid sports enthusiast and was drawn to water. Each day was a new adventure and she enjoyed her Hobe cat sail-boarding sailing and scuba diving. She was a licensed pilot a motorcycle enthusiast a golfer an avid tennis player and lived a healthy life with daily workouts and walks on the beach. A member of both Halifax River Yacht Club and Oceanside Country Club Deanna was a 4.0 tennis player and was both the doubles and mixed doubles champion. She was in the USTA National Finals four times. Along with Deanna's passion for the beach the outdoors and sports she touched many lives with her gracious warmth and loving spirit which were cherished gifts for all who received them. She was tremendously kind and compassionate and blessed us all with her inspirational love of life. Deanna was always positive and enthusiastic and was centered on the idea that life was about making proper choices. She is survived by her loving husband Norman "Church" who is thankful for the gift of fifteen fabulous years they shared her father George Boone and his wife Judi her mother Loretta Howard her brother and sister in law David and Debbie Boone her three daughters by marriage Mary Frances Elizabeth and Virginia her two nieces two nephews and her many friends. She will be truly missed by those that knew her. Memorial Donations may be made in Deanna's memory to the Beachside Church 221 Vining Court Ormond Beach FL 32176 or the charity of your choice.
