Dean Albert Pennington Age 87 of Port Orange passed away peacefully on March 22 2011. A Celebration of Dean's Life will be held on Friday March 25 2011 at 11AM at the Hospice Care Center at 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL with an inurnment at a later time at Woodlawn Cemetery. Dean was born in Kansas City MO on August 24 1923 to the late Robert & Zella (Beck) Pennington. He served in the U.S. Air Force then moved to this area 25 years ago. Dean celebrated his life with lots of close friends and adoring family and enjoyed activities such as traveling music dancing. His number one priority was the love for his family. He was a past member of the Blue Lodge Masonic in Westerville Ohio; the Scottish Rite in San Diego and the Al Bahr Shrine in San Diego. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life of 37 years Mary Lee Pennington; also daughter Kathy Pierce (George) of Gibbon NE; son Walter Dean Pennington (Pat) of Kearney NC; his step-children Darlene Hall (Mickey) of Cibolo TX; Dianne Reed of Port Orange FL; Tom Ward of Las Vegas NM; 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
