Oscar Dean Masters 78 of Ormond Beach FL passed away on April 21 2012 at Hospice Port Orange Care. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday April 27 2012 at 5:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Dean "Deno" was born on January 27 1934 in Mannington W. Virginia to Ben and Gladys (Hibbs) Masters. He was a retired Journeyman Electrician a member International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers IBEA Union # 358. Upon his retirement he relocated to Volusia County in 1990 from New Jersey. Deno enjoyed life; his passion was motorcycles of which he owned dozens. He loved taken long trips such as to Sturgis partaken in Poker Runs and riding free with his friends as a "Citizen Rider". Dean was also a WW II history buff loved boxing Country and Western and kept you entertain with his sense of humor. He will be lovingly missed by his family his wife and riding partner for 56 years Marilyn Masters Ormond Beach by his daughter Janet (Scott) Jones Ormond Beach his sons Martin (Cindy) Masters Piscataway NJ and Curtis Masters Ormond Beach by his brother Joseph (Pat) Masters Lexington NC and his six grandchildren Matthew Kyle Laura Sean and Shelba.
He was preceded by his parents Ben and Gladys as well as by his brothers Richard and Danny.
