David A. Wallace, 70, of South Daytona, passed away August 21, 2015 after a short illness. He was born in Rochester, NY, to Donald and Katherine Thomann Wallace.
David was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran and a recipient of a Purple Heart. He retired from Kodak and resided in Daytona Beach, where he loved a good cook out, golf, Sunday football and his Michelob.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Alice; his two children, Tim (Stephanie) and Cindy (Barry); five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Judy; two nephews; and extended family members and many loving friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at American Legion Post #361, 2648 South Ridgewood Ave., South Daytona, FL 32119. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
