David Drew Toben , 66,  died suddenly at his home in Daytona Beach  on November 9, 2023.  David was born in St. Marys, Ohio on Oct 14, 1957, son of Leo and Imogene (Comer) Toben. He was preceded in death by his parents and also his sister Tiana (Toben) Davis.
He is survived by his siblings Tony (Kim) Toben , Lynn (David) Craft, Nikki (Don) Dietz, Jeff Toben, all of St. Marys, Ohio and Teesa ( Arthur) Bailey of Trenton, South Carolina. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
Dave was a 1976 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and a 1980 graduate of The Ohio State University. In high school he was an exceptional tennis player.   After college he became an avid golfer and played in some pro-am golf tournaments.  He played golf every day until his death. He was also an avid reader of science fiction and westerns.  He loved spending time with his siblings and his nieces and nephews.
