David Alan Ordway of Willow, Alaska, died in Orange City, Florida, 13 February 2014, surrounded by his family.
David was born Concord, New Hampshire, 14 January 1948, son of Robert and Barbara (Dunstane) Ordway. David served in the U.S. Navy in the 1960's, and the U.S. Army in the 1970s. He lived in Anchorage and Willow, Alaska for the last 40 years, where he loved to hunt, fish, four-wheel, and snowmachine.
David is predeceased by his father Robert four months ago, and his mother Barbara last month. He is survived by his children, Bethany Ordway of Coralville, Iowa; Robert (Mary) Ordway of St. Petersburg, Florida; Christine (John) Cogley of Bakersfield, California; Donald (Kelly) Brockstedt of St. Petersburg, Florida; Teresa (Jeffrey St. Sauveur) LeBlanc of Bountiful, Utah; Zebulon (Michelle Gilmore) Ordway of Webster, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Nicholas and Trista of Bountiful, Utah; Mariella of Webster, New Hampshire; Daniel, Anastasia, Donson, and Dylan of St. Petersburg, Florida; brothers Richard (Susan) Ordway of Ocala, Florida, and John Bryant of Stephens City, Virginia; sister Linda (Michael) Mercier of Deltona, Florida; step-brothers Brian (Colleen) Stripp of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and Douglas (Susan) Stripp of Epping, New Hampshire.
