David Menzel 77 of Ormond Beach FL passed away peacefully on September 28 2012 at West Volusia Care Center Orange City FL. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday October 3 2012 at 3:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
David was born on March 19 1935 in Oshkosh Wisconsin. He was a retired CFO a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and the Halifax Yacht Club. Dave enjoyed life; his passions were attending church playing tennis enjoying the beach traveling the Green Bay Packers Florida State football singing his heart out and especially spending great times with family and friends.
He will be lovingly missed by his son David and his wife Patrice his daughter Laura and her husband Dean his daughter Lisa and her husband Randy and his daughter Lori and her husband Ron. He will be especially missed by his grandchildren Drew Ellie Cami Janey Alex Austin Gray and Ty. He was preceded by his devoted wife Catherine Menzel.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler or the Alzheimer's Association.
