David John Legler 37 passed away on Saturday February 9 2013. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday February 14 2013 at 8:30 A.M at Our Lady of Hope 4675 S.Clyde Morris Blvd Port Orange FL 32129. A visitation will follow at 11:30 A.M at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach FL 32114 with interment to follow at Edgewater New Smyrna Beach Cemetery 700 S Ridgewood Ave Edgewater FL 32132. David had a kind generous and sensitive nature. He had a heart of gold and there was nothing he would not do for others. He loved campfires fishing hunting the outdoors and raising animals at his home. David's family enjoyed his sense of humor he could always lighten the mood and his smile was one of his best features. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors in his own homemade Teepee with a campfire. He also owned his own landscaping company DJL Landscaping. David did not have much and yet he leaves a legacy of love and will be remembered by his brothers Thomas Legler Jeffrey Legler Bryan (Connie) Legler; sisters Cheryl (Jan) Duval Patricia (Geoff) Marquand and Deborah Brooker. David will also be missed by many nieces nephews and great-niece's great-nephews and cousins. He for the most part grew up with his nephews James and Frank Temple as brothers. He died in the loving arms of his girlfriend Donna Leo. David had a gift of gab and had many friends.
