Obituary

David Elton Lammers was born in Daytona Beach on March 24th, 1948 to Virginia and Raymond Lammers and passed peacefully on March 9th, 2025.

David was a Journeyman Electrician and a member of the IBEW Local 756.He worked at the Kennedy Space  Center for many years building the foundations of the space program. He also traveled around working at various job sites while seeing the country, surely participating in mischievous, aggravating, but friendly banter and tricks with his fellow co-workers along his way. He later worked for Volusia County Schools, as a facilities maintenance technician.

Growing up in Daytona, he spent time around motorcycles and developed a love for fishing. He attended St. Paul's Catholic School and Father Lopez High School. David was a ham radio operator and enjoyed talking with other radio enthusiasts. He also loved sports, especially coaching his children in youth basketball and baseball. David was a man of deep faith and a member of the Basilica of St. Paul and later enjoyed services at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.

David is survived by his son, Jacob Lammers, daughter, Sara Coyle (Chris),grandchildren C.J. and Brooke Coyle; his brother Henry Lammers; his sister Monica Hansen, and their respective families.

All are welcome to attend a graveside service to celebrate his life on Friday, March 14th at 11:00, at Daytona Memorial Park North, 1428 Bellevue Ave., Daytona Beach, Florida. Condolences may be shared at www.lohmandaytona.com.
