David K. Knickerbocker 66 went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 15 2010. He was born in Bath NY to Ivan and Ruth Knicker-bocker. David served in the US Army with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Division from 1965 through 1968. He met and married Roberta J. Mitchell in 1969. He later worked as a designer structural and production engineer with U.S. Steel and Grinnell Watercraft however for the past 20 years he worked for Regal Boats. David was a coach for Little League YMCA Indian Guides and Cub Scouts in Pine City NY he also coached YMCA KENA Baseball Basketball and Soccer in Port Orange FL. David was a wonderful husband father grand-father and a known honorable man. He was preceded in death by his son Douglas Knickerbocker in 2002. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 41 years Roberta J. Knickerbocker; son Scott Knickerbocker; and grandson Hunter whom he cherished very dearly; also Jesse and Gus; brothers Gary Knickerbocker (Linda) Big Flats NY; and Carl Knickerbocker Buffalo NY; sister Vivian and Michael Asiello Corning NY; brother/sister-in-laws Jeanne and The Late Danny Holleran; Elmira NY; Sharon and Bill Michaels Elmira NY; Doug and Jennifer Mitchell Sarasota FL; several nieces and nephews; and three very special friends Marge Shaker Daytona FL and Jimmy and Sue Morgan Ormond Beach FL.
