Obituary

David M. Holup of Port Orange left us suddenly on Friday March 16th 2012. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona on Saturday March 24th 2012 the family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. David was born in Washington D.C. to Carole and the late Joseph Holup. He was a free spirited fun loving guy who loved his friends and family deeply. He was an avid reader knife and firearm collector but most of all a Harley Davidson enthusiast! His greatest passion was his love for motorcycles and Harley Davidson memorabilia. You could always find David cruising the streets or working on his bike to make sure it was perfect. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Carole Rogers son Christopher Holup brothers Joseph Holup II Jeremy Rogers Andrew Rogers Leonard Rogers and John Rogers many extended family members and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Holup I and step-father Leyton Rogers. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to The Harley Davidson Foundation Inc. at 3700 West Juneau Avenue Milwaukee Wisconsin 53208.Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
