David Gordon, 87, passed away peacefully under the wonderful care of Halifax Health Hospice of Port Orange on August 26, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

David was born in Norwich, NY. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to 1952. There he met the love of his life Theresa (Teak). They wed and moved to Florida in 1952. They were married for 58 years, until Teak's passing in 2010. Dave was in the insurance business for 37 years where he met many lifelong friends. Dave's passions were golfing with his wife and fishing in the Halifax River for over 30 years.

Those left to cherish his memoryinclude his loving children, Raymond (Gordy) Gordon; daughter, Susie Gordon, who were raised in the Halifax area and still residethere; a sister,Patricia Robble of Maggie Valley, N.C. andnieces& nephews.
