David H. Fortier 59 of Port Orange passed away on Friday June 20 2008.
He was born on September 30 1948 in Manchester New Hampshire to Hank and Charolette Fortier. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. David moved to Volusia county 8 years ago from New Hampshire and was a corrections officer at the jail for the Volusia County Sheriffs Office. He loved camping fishing and spending time with his family. A loving husband father and grandfather he is survived by his wife of 36 years Gail his 3 sons; Cory of Daytona Adam of Nevada and Tyler of Pennsylvania; his daughters Amy Beatly of Pennsylvania and Cindy Savage of New Hampshire also 7 grandchildren
In lieu of flowers his family requests donations be made in David's memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32127
Private services are being held. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
