David V. Essig 46 of Ormond Beach FL. Passed away March 13 2011 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. A Memorial Service will be held Monday March 21 2011 at 1pm at the Temple Beth-El 579 N. Nova Road Ormond Beach FL. All arrangements are under the direct supervision of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach Fl. David was born in Harvey Illinois and graduated from Marion Catholic High School in Chicago Heights Illinois. He then attended the University of Wisconsin earning his bachelors degree. David was employed as a physical therapist. David and his wife moved their family from Naperville Illinois to Ormond Beach FL. in 2004. Here they started a business together. David had a passion for the outdoors. He loved the ocean and mountains equally. He enjoyed his long runs and spending quality time with his children. David was well known for his kind and generous ways and love of life long learning. He will be remembered for living life to the fullest. David was preceded in death by his father Norbert Essig and sister Kathryn Bruni. He is survived by his Loving wife of 9 years Teri (Wagener) Essig of Ormond Beach Fl. his young son Jackson and baby daughter Meghan; his beloved mother Marie Mally of Olympia Fields Illinois; parents-in-laws Mark and Diane Wagener of Naperville Illinois; brothers Norbert Essig (Jean) of Oak Forest Illinois; Lawrence Essig (Annie) of Rochester Illinois; Thomas Essig (Gaylynne) of Flossmoor Illinois; sister Susan Hojnicki (Richard) of Western Springs Illinois; brother-in-law Eric Wagener of Chicago Illinois; brother-in-law David Bruni of Chicago Heights Illinois.
