David Glen Crider 32 of DeLand passed away suddenly from a motorcycle accident while wearing a helmet on February 25 2009. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday March 3 2009 from 12 pm until 2 pm at the Christ Community Church 402 W. New York Avenue DeLand. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 2 pm. Interment will be at DeLand Memorial Gardens. David was born in Tampa Florida on April 15 1976 the son of Brenda and John Matsey and the late Bobby Joe Crider. His trade was landscaping but recently he loved being a stay at home daddy. He enjoyed fishing shooting pool playing and coaching baseball with the kids poker cooking and baking. He also loved riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his wife Deann Crider of DeLand; his sons Brandon Cory Alex and Isaac; and his daughter Megan all of DeLand; brothers Joseph (Sharon) Crider Jason (Dawne) Crider and John Matsey Jr. of DeLand; sister Sonya Matsey of New York; six nieces; ten nephews; numerous aunts uncles cousins and friends.
