David Bloomquist age 45 of Daytona Beach passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 8 2012. A funeral mass in his honor will be held 10 AM Sat. July 14 at the Basilica of St. Paul 315 Mullaly St. followed by an interment at Daytona Memorial Park. The viewing will be 5:00-8:00pm July 13 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. David was born in Brooklyn New York to Edward and Mary Bloomquist. He dedicated his talents as a Restaurant Manager for several places but lastly at Snack Jack's in Flagler Beach. He was a proud graduate of Xaverian High School Brooklyn NY attended Albany St. University member of the Basilica of St. Paul and a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. He was an intelligent competitive proud gentleman who enjoyed socializing spending time on the beach and with his pets and cooking for his family and friends. He leaves behind his broken hearted parents Edward Sr. and Marian Bloomquist 2 brothers: Michael ( Ann) Bloomquist and Edward Jr. (Gilberto Torres) Bloomquist a sister: Marian (Thomas) Wood 5 nieces and nephews a great niece his beloved "kids" Max and Stella and a large circle of loving family and friends. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
