With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Lee Alsdorf, born on December 14, 1983, in Deland, Florida, was sent home on April 22, 2025, in Astor Florida. He was the beloved son of Kenneth L. Alsdorf Sr., and Thelma K. Lee.

David, a true outdoorsman at heart, lived a life filled with adventure by finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature. David cherished the thrill of hiking through woods, the love of his dog Jade, the calm serenity of fishing in a lake, and the camaraderie of camping under the stars. He leaves behind a legacy of love for the natural world and a spirit that will continue to inspire us. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

David is survived by his loving mother, Thelma K. Lee, his stepfather, Charles Clinton, his wife Brandi Alsdorf, brother Kenneth L. Alsdorf Jr, sister-in-law Autumn, six nephews and one niece. David also leaves behind aunts and uncles who adored him dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to any United Southern Bank branch. The funds raised will go toward the cost of laying him to rest

Although David's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
