IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daryl Susan
Kent
July 21, 1945 – February 5, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daryl Susan Kent, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on February 5, 2025 at the age of 79.
Daryl was the cherished wife of Donald Kent for 56 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering support. As a devoted mother to her two children, Aaron and Jennifer, she instilled in them the values of compassion, generosity, and the importance of family. Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature created a home where love flourished, and her children always knew they could count on her for guidance and encouragement.
As a grandmother to her amazing grandson, Austin, Daryl embraced her role with joy and pride. She delighted in sharing stories, baking cookies, and creating cherished memories that will forever be etched in Austin's heart. Daryl's kindness knew no bounds; she was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear to anyone in need.
Daryl had a passion for crafting, and her jewelry was a reflection of her sunny disposition. Her love for animals was equally profound, and she was known for volunteering at Boxer Rescue and caring for them as part of her family.
Daryl's legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She touched the lives of many with her selfless acts and genuine smile, reminding us all of the importance of compassion and understanding.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don; her children, Aaron and Jennifer; and a host of friends and family who will miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local animal shelter in her honor, or Coastal Boxer Rescue (https://coastalboxers.org/), a cause that was close to her heart.
Daryl Susan Kent will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts as a shining example of love and kindness.
