Darcey Lynn Bennett 36 of Ormond by the Sea passed at 10:55 a.m. Sunday April 6 2008 at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange after a very lengthy illness that she fought bravely for years. Services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Darcey was born August 9 1971 in New London CT. The Daughter of Linwood and Alice Bennett. She graduated from Coral Shores High School in Tavernier Fl. with the class of 1989. Darcey was the owner and operator of Medical Administrators. In her past time she loved to dance especially to country music with her friends. Survivors include: mother and step-father: Alice and Charles Jordan of Ormond by the Sea; father and step-mother: Linwood and Deborah Bennett of Port St. Lucie; brother and sister-inlaw: Michael and Melissa Bennett of Stuart; niece: Madison Bennett and nephew: Nicholas Bennett both of Stuart; step-sister: Lisa Jordan of Orlando and step-brother: Charles Jordan of Deltona. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Memorials may be made to A.R.N.I. Foundation in Daytona Beach or Hospice Care Center in Port Orange.
