Danielle Janice Dunnett (nee Gardner), 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Daytona Beach on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. She is survived by her sons, William J. (John) Dunnett Jr. and Christopher Dunnett, daughter Wendy Holden, granddaughters Rhea Davis, Jesseca Moxey, Olivia Cajthaml and Miranda Holden, siblings Gordon P. (Phil) Gardner Jr, Jacqueline Shaffer, Patricia Knott and Glen Gardner, and her beloved dog Benji. She was predeceased by brother Bobby Gardner, and parents Gordon P. "Hap" Gardner and Dorothy (Shea) Gardner.

Danielle, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, was a long time resident of the Daytona Beach area. She was a free spirit, former beauty queen and model, entrepreneur, decorator extraordinaire and sassy friend to so many in her community. Danielle lived a life of passion and perseverance. With the sunset of this life, may she continue to shine in giving and receiving joy in the next.

The family plans to host a celebration of life in the coming weeks at the Carriage Cove community clubhouse.
