SOTOMAYOR Daniel

Daniel Sotomayor age 73 of Palm Coast passed away at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville on Saturday November 25 2006.
The family will receive friends at Palm Coast Praise Assembly of God Church on Tuesday November 28 from 2 - 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 6 p.m. with further visitation to be held after the service until 9 p.m. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 2 p.m. on Wednesday following a prayer service at the church at 9:00 a.m.
Daniel was born in Santurce Puerto Rico on February 28 1933 to Herminio & Lydia Sotomayor. Daniel was a veteran of the U.S. Army and after his service he was a Branch Manager for the U.S. Postal Service in New York retiring in 1988. He moved to Palm Coast from Piermont NY in 1990. Daniel worked as a driver for the Flagler County School Board and he was a member of Palm Coast Praise Assembly of God Church. Daniel was a great family man and will be remembered for all of the love he shared with his beloved family.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother David. Survivors include his loving wife Margie of 26 ½ years; 6 children: Daniel Janet Alice Paul Jeffrey & Andrew; 8 grandchildren: Alyssa Marcus Anthony Emily Tyler Baron Cameron & Devon; siblings: Luis Lillian Jose Awilda Monsita & Ada and by his children's spouses brothers & sisters in-law and many nieces & nephews.
