Daniel F. Lavigne

1942-2021

Daniel F Lavigne, 79, of Port Orange formerly of Leicester, MA passed away on October 29, 2021.  He was born on June 29, 1942 in Spencer MA.  Son of the late Damose F Lavigne and Beatrice M Lavigne (Dumas).

Dan knew how fortunate he was to meet Diane Keating and wasted no time in marrying
her. They were married on August 11, 1972.  In August they celebrated 49 years together.  Their bond will continue until she joins him for their next adventure.

He was predeceased by his three brothers. Richard, Walter and Rene Lavigne.  He leaves three sisters.  Lucille Radulski (George), Claudia Morris (Jim), and Michelle Terkanian (Ben) all of Port Orange, Fl.

Dan also leaves sisters-in-law Carole Keating, Marilyn Porcaro (Bob).  Brothers-in-law Patrick (Pam) and John (Lyn), Keating.

Dan was in the Army National Guard. He was educated in the Spencer School System.
He retired from Millbrook Distributors after 25 years as a truck driver.  He was a member of Teamsters Local 170, Worcester, MA. The American Legion Post 361 in South Daytona, FL. And The Eagles in Port Orange, Fl.

He will be greatly missed by family and all who knew him.  He was a world traveler and never missed an opportunity for a good time.

A celebration of life will be held on November 12, at 1PM at the Summertrees Club House, 61 Crooked Pine Rd., Port Orange, FL.

A private burial service will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.

The care that Dan received while in the ICU at Halifax Hospital was exceptional.
