Daniel Martin Juchum age 81 of Daytona Beach passed away on Monday September 26 2011. A 12:00 visitation until a 2:00 Funeral service in his honor will be held on Friday Sept. 30 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Daytona Memorial Park. Daniel was born in Ohio to Michael and Helen Juchum. He was an adventurous young man who left home early traveling the United States was a merchant marine and found the love of his life in New Mexico. He proudly serviced our country in the US Air force and graduated from New Mexico State University as an Electronic Engineer. He dedicated 30 years to General Electric Co. He came to Florida to serve on the Apollo Program and is remembered on the Space Walk Hall of Fame in Titusville after 10 years in Massachusetts he returned to Florida in 1981 and retired in 1990. Daniel enjoyed playing golf was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Singing in America was a brilliant gentleman who was a dedicated loving caretaker of his wife and devoted father. His beloved wife Jacqueline Starriett Juchum and a son Thomas Dean Juchum preceded him in death and he leaves behind his 2 sons: John Steven Juchum and Michael Timothy Juchum and a brother John Juchum. Arrangements are under the direct supervision of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
