Daniel "Joe" McGee, 84 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at his home.
He was born September 11, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts to John and Catherine (McElhinney) McGee.
Joe worked for The Washington Post as a printer then supervisor from 1958 until retirement in 1987. He and his wife Muriel enjoyed taking cruises. They surpassed the mark of over one hundred cruises together.
He is survived by his loving niece, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Combes and her son Rafael of Ormond Beach and 14 other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Wife Muriel Mast McGee. He was a member of The Moose Lodge, The Elks Club and The Fraternal Order of The Eagles.
Services will be held Thursday, May 12th at 11:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach with Fr. Richard Grasso Officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach, Florida
