Daniel Janicki 89 born October 2 1922 and passed away February 29 2012. Resident of Port Orange Florida.

Daniel was born in Elizabeth Pennsylvania to the late Peter and Theresa Nazarak. He was a member of Holy Dormition Byzantine Catholic Church in Ormond Beach FL and St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church in McKeesport Pennsylvania. Daniel retired from National Tubes working as a Cable man in McKeesport Pennsylvania. He was the oldest member of Blaine Hill Fire Hall in Elizabeth Pennsylvania. He relocated to Florida in 1994.

He leaves his wife of 38 years Anna May Zaken Suckell Janicki; sister Olga Cole; brother Alfred Janicki; stepchildren; Edward J. Suckell Vincent L. Suckell and Scott M. Suckell; step granddaughters: April Rayner Kimberly Ann Schomes; and many nieces and nephews. Daniel is predeceased by his brothers: Steve Samuel Tony Paul John; and stepdaughter Debra Jean Neander. He was an avid sports fan and will be missed by all who knew him.

Interment will take place at Monongahela Cemetery in Monongahela Pennsylvania on Wednesday March 7 2012. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Funeral Home.
