Funeral Service for Daniel Webster Foster age 88 who passed away Friday July 23th 2004 in Florida Hospital-Flagler Palm Coast FL will be Tuesday July 27th at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church Palm Coast FL with Father Jack R. Habberfield officiating.
Mr. Foster was born August 27 1915 to Frank and Marie Zedak Foster in Chicago IL and moved to this area in 1982 from Chicago IL. Mr. Foster was a decorated Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps where he served as a bomber pilot during World War II. When he related to these experiences he would often refer to his favorite movie ?God is My Co-Pilot.? While he also aspired to be a physician upon moving to Chicago he became an advertising executive and C.E.O. of a minor corporation. After his retirement in 1982 Daniel and his wife Margaret moved to Palm Coast where he was active in the Palm Coast Community at large and was a proud member of the Military Order of the World Wars. Daniel also was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church ? Palm Coast and was deeply committed to his church activities. The Fosters moved to this area to enjoy golf tennis and both old and new friends.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 64 years Margaret M. Kelly Foster and their 2 Daughters: Mardi Zand of Miami FL and Sue Hutchens of Petoskey MI. 2 Sisters: Georgiana O?Gara of Kansas City MO and Barbara Rosetti of Indiana. 4 Grandchildren: Jason Jory Maggie and Kate.
