Daniel J. Dubnicek 80 of Ormond Beach FL passed away at Florida Memorial Hospital Daytona Beach FL on April 8 2011. The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 12th between the hours of 5-7 pm at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 13th at 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 600 Nova Rd. Ormond Beach. Daniel was a Design Engineer with St. Regis Paper Company he also owned and operated along with his wife Mary's Hallmark Card Shop in the Trails Shopping Center he was a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church a US Marine Corps veteran during the Korean War enjoyed fishing and the company of his family and friends as well as his dog Johnny. Daniel and Mary have been residents of Volusia County since 1980 relocating from Northvale NJ. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Mary A. Dubnicek his sons Bill (Marie) Dubnicek and Gary (Patricia) Dubnicek all of Ormond Beach four grandchildren Dawn (Todd) Bader Tampa FL Mary Anne (Jose) Lorza Pooler GA Sherri (Chip) Adams S. Carolina and Kristy (Corey) Saunders Deland FL as well as five great-grandchildren Sophia and Jose Lorza Mackenzie Bader Kylie and Codey Saunders.
