Dana Lane 56 of Ormond Beach passed away August 15 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A visitation is scheduled for Monday August 18 2008 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Dana was born October 19 1951 to Denzil and Eloise Lane in Huntington WV. He served his country in the US Army and was most recently a carpenter in the remodeling and construction industry with his son Rod Lane. He moved to the area in 1991 from Barboursville WV and enjoyed motorcycles and college sports especially West Virginia teams such as Marshall and the Mountaineers. Dana is survived by his wife of 37 years Brenda and his children: Rod Lane (Pam Wolfcale) of Port Orange and Deanna Lane (Baldur Magnusson) of Ithaca NY and two grandchildren Dylan Lane of Ormond Beach and Caitlyn Wolfcale of Port Orange. Dana is also survived by his mother Eloise Lane of Harper's Ferry WV brother Richard (Rena) Lane of Shenandoah Junction WV and brother-in-law Paul Dodson of Milton WV. Dana also leaves behind many special friends who have stood by him and his family throughout the years and during his illness.
