Obituary

Dana Chamberlain, 72 of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, January 22, 2016. He was born August 9, 1943 in Bolair, West Virginia to Basil and Viola Chamberlain.

Funeral Services will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 29th at 11:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home, 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Dana was a Truck Driver, he served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, he enjoyed spending time on the beach, boating, most of all he just enjoyed life and being the life of the party.

To sum up in six words my life, "I have lived a wonderful life" and of course his favorite greeting, "How the hell are ya?"

Dana is survived by his wife Janet Chamberlain, Daytona Beach Shores, his sons, Dana Lee Chamberlain and his wife Shelly of Taneytown, MD, and Robert Chamberlain of North Carolina, by three brothers, a sister, four grandchildren, Theresa Gibson, Hannah and Noah Taylor, and Robert Eyler, as well as six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dana's memory to the VFW Post 3282 at 5830 South Williamson Blvd. Port Orange, Florida 32128.
