Cory Patterson , 35, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on September 10, 2021. He was born on November 29, 1985, in Rock Hill, SC but called Ormond Beach his home since the age of 19. Surviving family members include his loving wife, Tiffany, whom he has loved fiercely for the past 15 years, his two daughters, Taylor (12) and Skylar (8), who were the center of his world, and his fur babies Roxy, Diamond and Treasure. He is also survived by his parents, Tony Patterson (Andrea) of Clover, SC and Loretta Edwards (Stewart) of Salisbury, NC. In addition to his parents, Cory is survived by his in-laws June Shouse (Scott) of Ormond Beach, FL and Kenny Ayers (Kimi) of New Smyrna Beach, FL who loved him like one of their own. Cory is also survived by his Paw Paw, Don Patterson (Elaine) of Rock Hill, SC, his Granny, Barbara Strickland of Fort Mill, SC, his three sisters, Heather Patterson of Lancaster, SC, Valerie Kelly (Justin) of Rock Hill, SC, Brandi Patterson of Fort Mill, SC and three stepsisters and a stepbrother. Cory was the best brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to so many people that loved him dearly. His many nieces and nephews will forever be some of his biggest fans. Cory was preceded in death by his Maw Maw, Joyce Patterson, and his Paw Paw, Albert Patterson.

Cory was truly one of a kind. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved "chasing" autographs from various athletes and celebrities. He loved having fun and enjoying life. He had a great sense of humor and never turned down the opportunity to dance, sing Karaoke or create a TikTok with his daughters. He loved fishing, boating, and jet skiing, going to the beach and mountains, and watching sunsets. His primary passion in life was making his wife and daughters happy. Most days you could find Cory in his garage, listening to the music he loved or watching a passing thunderstorm. He had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His smile, his hair, his cooking, his thoughtfulness and humor will forever be missed. Cory was full of surprises and is irreplaceable to those who love him.

A service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 4:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home in Ormond Beach.
