A graveside service for Corine Hill 71 of Ormond Beach FL who passed away October 7 2007 at Avante of Ormond Nursing Home will be held at 2:00pm Friday October 12 2007 at Daytona Memorial Park 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach FL with the family hosting a reception to follow. Born in Boston GA on November 9 1935 to Lloyd & Marie Hill she was employed for many years in the housekeeping department at Ormond Hotel on Granada Ave. Corine enjoyed walking going 5 to 10 miles daily. She was known by many residents of Ormond Beach for her daily walks. There were no strangers in Corine's life. She was a person willing to help anyone. Corine attended the Church of Jesus Apostic faith with Apostle Charles Freeman. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ralph Hill. She leaves two brothers: Jacob Hill and his wife Ella of Ormond Beach & Kenneth Hill and his wife Cloretha of Birmingham AL; a sister Emma Burke of Daytona Beach; her nephews: Marcus Burke Jacob Hill Jr Anthony Hill Keith Hill Russell Hill & Thomas Hill; her nieces Melissa Jackson Wanda Hill Grace Hill Sharon Hill Sarah Hill and a host of great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews along with a lifetime friend Elizabeth Owens.
