Obituary

Consuela "Connie" Dignard 67 of Palm Coast passed away Tuesday November 30 2010 while surrounded by her loving family. There will be a Vigil Service on Friday December 3 2010 from 5pm to 7pm at the Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church 915 North Central Avenue Flagler Beach Florida where the family will receive friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Saturday December 4 2010 at The Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church. A private interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
Connie was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and raised in Niagara Falls New York. where she met her husband Leonard. Together they raised their family and traveled the world including Turkey and Germany before moving to Colorado where they lived until 2005 when they settled into Palm Coast.
Connie worked as an office administrator for many years and later attended cosmetology school earning her license. Connie will be remembered for her strong love of family her friendly smile her inner strength love of art and passion for gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family traveling and especially cruises. Connie's compassion and love for life was shown in everything she did. Connie was preceded in death by her parents four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years Leonard Dignard of Florida two sons Raymond Dignard of Colorado and Leonard Dignard Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Colorado two daughters Michelle and her husband Brian Thompson of Virginia and Wendi Lane of Florida and one sister Mary Jo Bishop of New York. Connie was also the loving grandmother to her four very special grandchildren Alexandra Thompson of Virginia Andrea Thompson of Hawaii Jordyn Bartolucci and Brittni Dignard both of Florida.
