Constance "Connie" Polito passed away peacefully December 30, 2013. She would have celebrated her 92nd birthday on February 7, 2014.

Connie was born in Braddock, PA and resided in Swissvale, PA. She and her husband Sam moved to the Fort Lauderdale area in 1971. In 1998 they moved to Ormond Beach. Connie was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved being a housewife and mother. She was married to Sam, a U.S. Marines vet, for 64 years until his passing in 2007. Connie and Sam loved attending Marine reunions around the state. They were both active members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Connie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Polito of Ormond Beach, FL, by her son Sal Polito and daughter-in-law Janelle, by her granddaughter Kayla of Rices Landing, PA, and grandson Scott Polito of Valrico, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Sebastian "Sam" Polito and her son Ronald Polito.

Services for Connie will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 at 1:00pm at the chapel of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach, followed by interment at Volusia Memorial Park on Nova Road in Ormond Beach. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
