Colleen (Connie) Leah Smith, 72 of Palm Coast, Fl went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2015. She battled brain cancer since early this year.

She is my love and wife, our sweet mother (mom) and dearest Gram.

Born 1943 to Everett and Genevieve Sheffer from Michigan who preceded her in death.

Married in 1961 to Marvin Emerson Smith of Michigan.

Connie and Marv spent 32 years in California before relocating to North Carolina with their jointly owned furniture business. Retiring 2010 to Palm Coast, FL brought them much needed rest and new friendships with so many who shared their interests - art, music, golf, fine dining and faith.

Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Marv Smith of Palm Coast, FL daughter Michelle and husband Dion Davis and son Mark Smith and fiance Inge Aldridge, grandchildren, Mitchell Davis, Megan Davis and Matthew Davis - all of North Carolina. Sister Cheryl Farmer and husband Rev. Doug Farmer of California, brother Richard Sheffer of California and sister-in-law Elinor Loeding and husband Richard of Michigan. Nieces - Diane Matusik, Danette Bolton, Debra Auten, Laura Zielke, Shannon Massa and Michelle Farmer-Smith. Nephews - Dwight Loeding, David Loeding and Doug Famer, Jr.

Connie supported many Christian missions and ministries in this area and internationally as her love for Christ and sharing of the Good News was important to her.

In celebration and honor of her life, services will be held on July 1, 2015 at 1:30 pm with opportunity to visit family, starting at 1:00 pm at United Methodist Church of Palm Coast, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL. Interment immediately following at Daytona Memorial Park, Florida.
